The dates for the bike and kayak tours are set for the first weekend in October which are the 3rd and 4th. The start time will be 10 AM. However, we will meet at the boat launching area on Indian Key fill on the bay side. The groups will be limited to 10 each day. You can bring your own bike and kayak if you wish. We will stage on Indian Key fill and our club will have people to watch the bikes and kayaks during the tour. Once we set up, our group will ride straight to the Hurricane Monument...

I started this tour as a fundraiser idea for my wrestling club and high school wrestling team. The proceeds go towards helping fund our upcoming season. When I first started this tour, it took about 6 months of preparation of learning the local history and mapping out a bike route. At first, it was really hard. I have lived in Islamorada since 1994 and think this is the greatest place in the world and by far the best place in the Keys. The tour is 6.5 miles long and has 10 stops and it takes two hours to ride. We cover a span of 4,000 years of history. The tour is every Saturday and Sunday starting at 10 AM in Islamorada.
